The word that comes to mind while at Rustic Kitchen is "LOBSTER". I took B out for dinner some time back and we were surprised that the menu had so many lobster options.
Personally, I was really pleased that the food was hearty and tasty and for the price and generous portions, it really was not too expensive at all.  Thumbs up for making some effort towards plating. LoL, check out the 3 flimsy onion rings draped over the crackers below, they made me laugh. We went on a Friday night, and I was struck by how empty the restaurant was. What's going on? I might go back ... if only I didn't have so many groupons to finish up first!

Tuna Tartare with spicy chile sauce, avocado & pistachio crackers-Chunks of well seasoned fish with tonnes of avocado to spare. Yummers!

Lobster Fritters crispy fried lobster ‘hush puppies’ with remoulade sauce, arugula, corn & cucumber salad…This was ok. We tasted more flour than lobster but the sauce was creamy and zesty.

LOBSTER RISOTTO chopped lobster, corn, chives, tomato & bacon with a puree of summer corn… I really enjoyed this risotto. Alas, it wasn't my dish :(

Pan Roast ed Prosciutto-Wrapped Swordfish with lobster mashed potatoes & seasonal vegetables... The fish was good and the lobster was was delicious. But I want some lobster risotto!

Trio of ice-cream. I forgot the flavors but one of them was red cherries.

Pretty decent creme brulee.
